Who We Are
Jeanette Barsdell
I have been teaching and training for the past 21 years! I love my work because I get to work in lots of interesting places with good people.
I am a Cambridge University CELTA and CELTYL trainer and I also train teacher trainers. I have written and taught many TESOL & TECSOL courses, working mostly with non-native English speakers. I believe strongly that non-native teachers are equal to and often better than native speaker teachers because they understand the difficulties of learning English and the structure of their own languages. My goal is to give you the support you need to get the maximum from your TESOL course.

Hello
I started my career as an ESOL teacher in New Zealand and from there with more experience and qualifications, I moved to become a Director of Studies at a major language centre, writing curriculum, managing staff and marketing in international contexts. I am now a qualified CELTA tutor, have trained as a CELTYL tutor and have trained both new and very experienced teachers within New Zealand and internationally. My aim is to get the right course for you and to make sure that you have great course options.

Hi
I have been in the ESOL industry for the last 20 years. My job is to make sure that you get all the services and support you need and to ensure that you have a very successful course. If you have any administration, homestay or visa concerns I am here to help you. My goal is for you to love my country New Zealand, and to have such a great TESOL course that you recommend us to all your friends.
